Jordan Banfield Wins PKO for $2,923 + $3,300 in Bounties
It was quite the marathon in the PKO game. Despite the smaller-than-expected field, it still took more than 10 hours to decide the winner tonight, with heads up between Weston Pring and Jordan Banfield lasting for several levels.
Both players were all in at risk during the HU play, with each player securing a double to stay alive, but HU was pretty cagey between them. Most of the pots were raise and take it spots, with a few hands going to a board but generally not to showdown.
In the final hand, Banfield shoved his button with ace-eight and Pring agonized over the call. He finally decided it was time and ended up in a race between pocket fours and Banfield’s ace-eight. Banfield found two more aces on the board while the fours bricked for Pring. Banfield got $2,923 for the win plus $2,350 from the final two bounties in addition to the $950 he collected earlier in the evening.
