The second and final chance to bag a stack for Day 2 of the Main Event kicks off on Saturday at noon. Day 1b players will all be eyeing the big stack of NLH/PLO Mix champion Daniel Hicks who bagged nearly 400k at the end of Day 1a. There are also three other stacks from 1a in the 300k range including local McDonald’s magnate DJ Sharma. Seniors Champ Kim Graham also bagged a top five stack on 1a.
Day 1b is a redo of of 1a with a start stack of 30k, 40-minute blinds, and 9 levels of late entry. Day 1b will end when they get to 12.5%+1 of the field.
I will most likely be a little late to the floor for Saturday, but once I am set up, Day 1b will be my main focus until they bag.
