Day 2 is now set and 1b leader Dale Posein is the leader for the final day of play with 445k. 1c leader Caleb Simmons will start Day 2 in second place with 430.5k. The rest of the top five, Ty Adams, Dave Howat, and Mal Hagan, all came from 1c as well.
Day 2 action gets underway at noon on Sunday and three players will have to go home empty-handed as 40 players are returning for 37 paid spots. That will be changing for the remaining multi-day games – the new structures will be posted with the event, but they now specify that 10% will go through to Day 2, ensuring that all players coming back are in the money for future multi-day events.
Blinds will be 40 minutes in length on Day 2, and they’ll play until a winner is decided. Stay tuned for the day 2 seats coming in the next post.
