The final two players agreed to an ICM chop that guaranteed Ed Zurawell $7,868 for the big stack. They then decided to flip for the trophy and, while runner-up Brian Wells won the first hand for a double, he was still the short stack when Zurawell took down the second flip, ending the game.
This was Zurawell’s second career win and first PPT trophy and should push his lifetime earnings over $85k.
