Jose Carpio Wins E2 After 5-Way Deal

Jose Carpio was the winner of Event #2 after a five-way deal

The Turbo game, which started four hours later than the Seniors game, finished before it by the clock. Event #2 was done and dusted after about 8 hours of play while the Seniors will still three-ways at their final table across the room. As a result, I had very little chance to watch any action on this game.

I do know a deal was discussed with play six-handed but was rejected by Shah Mohammed, the eventual 6th place finisher. Once Mohammed was gone, the remaining players quickly agreed to chop it up with the trophy and win going to big stack Jose Carpio. One interesting note is that included in the dealing players was Grace Quijano, who took 3rd tonight. She and Carpio are a couple off the tables, and they also both survived the Survivor game in the previous series.

Full prizes are loaded under the Payouts tab, as well as pasted below. Note that the official casino payouts are the ones I am posting as I’m not 100% certain on the deal specifics. I think they chopped evenly, but I didn’t confirm that so am posting the original payout numbers.
