Saturday’s side closes out two night’s of bounty sides after Friday’s PKO game. This time, the bounties are a mystery until they are won. While the final figures will depend on the field, expect the biggest bounties to easily cap $5k in this one.
The opening hands go at 6 PM on Saturday evening with a start stack of 20k. There are 8 25-minute levels of poker with entries open, and the final chance to grab a stack will be about 9:50 PM. This is a one-day event, so after that, it will be a race to the winner.
The bounties will kick in when players are in the money, and the average bounty is set at $300. Once the field is set and the $300 bounties removed from the bounty pool, staff will work out the top bounties on the remaining pool with the following formula:
- 2×20% (one in at the start of bounty play, the second with two tables remaining)
- 1×16%
- 1×11%
- 1×7.5%
- 3×4.5%
- 4×3%
My main focus early in the day on Saturday will be Day 1c of the Deepstack game, but it bags before midnight so I should make it over for the endgame of this one at least. Bear in mind that the end of a Day 1c has a bit of extra admin work for me as I prepare the Day 2 seat assignments, payouts, etc, so I might be later to this one than for a regular side event.
