The PLO Bounty game is now over with Ryan Comely emerging as the big winner. He defeated fellow Edmontonian Kris Steinbach after a lengthy heads-up battle that saw the lead flip between each player a couple of times.
One huge turning point for Comely came in a hand where he put Steiner to the test for all his chips on the river of a wrapped board. Steinbach tanked for a long time before mucking his hand, showing the low end of a straight. After Steiner folded, Comely showed two-pair for a well-executed bluff.
Comely is no stranger to winning at poker, He has more than $700k in winnings and almost a full page of wins on his Hendon Mob page. This was his second PPT trophy after he picked up a Mystery Bounty win last year on the Tour.
