
Armin Rezaei is a World Poker Tour champion after he has beaten a field of 2.601 players in the WPT500 Knockout event at partypoker and turned his $530 investment into a $139,970 payday.

The WPT #13: WPT500 Knockout ran from March 15 to 23 and on Tuesday the final table of 9 players was played out. Armin Rezaei was already the chip leader before the day started and was leading almost throughout final table. When heads-up started, he had a 2:1 lead over David Lopez Llacer. The lead was slowly extending and on the last hand of the tournament, he called a 10bb shove with AJ, hit his pair on the turn and became the champion. David Lopez Llacer won 101,523$ for second place.
The final table was streamed on partypoker's twitch channel with commentary by James Dempsey and Jeff Gross.
