Billy Irvine walked away with a WPT Online Series title as he came out on top in the $1,050 WPT #01 Opener on partypoker and secured a $81,841 payout. The tournament attracted a total of 574 entrants that ensured the $500,000 guarantee was not only met but surpassed by $74,000.
The final day began with 84 players in the hunt for the title.
Seven players reached the final table with Irvine leading the way. The bounty element meant all but one of the seven finalists walked away with a five-figure prize. Rodrigo Selouan was that player, he won $7,533.
Casimir Seire and Joel Nystedt busted before Alexander Van Der Swaluw saw his tournament end in fourth place for $25,885.
British online poker legend Conor Beresford crashed out in third for $32,241, which set up a one-on-one battle with Ronnie Lemmens and Irvine. Irvine got the job done and his hands on $81,841 leaving Irvine to collect the $81,841 top prize and the title of champion.

2021 WPT Online Series has something for every poker player to get their hands on. Running from May 14 through June 2 and is accompanied by a $3,200 Main Event that promises online players the experience, and paydays, similar to competing in any WPT Main Tour event.
The $3,200 WPT Online Series Main Event includes a $3 million guarantee and, for the winner, their name engraved on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup. The Main Event will feature two starting flights, the first taking place on Sunday, May 23, with Day 1B playing out one week later on Sunday, May 30.
