GG Network's (Betkings, GGPoker, Natural8, 2bet4win) Spring Festival 25K Super High Roller saw three of the most respected high roller regulars each walk away with more than $400,000 in earnings on Thursday's action, after they agreed to chopping up the biggest buy-in event on the schedule.
Stephen Chidwick, Daniel Dvoress, and Nick Petrangelo made their way through 93 other entries in Event #93 ($25,500 Super High Roller) before chopping up more than $1.3 million. Chidwick wound up with the title and $442,339.13 while Dvoress took second for $435,831.89, and Petrangelo grabbed third place for $433,757.56.
Stephen Chidwick was crowned the champion of the event because he had a slight 3-handed advantage. Chidwick came from an ungrateful period without conquering any of the biggest wins for quite a long time. That thirsty wait to celebrate a big title finally ended.
In addition to the trio, other big names in poker world were on their winning path. Names so big you can actually name them all: Andras Nemeth, Samuel Vousden, Sam Greenwood, Sami Kelopuro, Steve O’Dwyer, Mikita Badziakouski. None of them able to hold the trio of the deal in the first part of FT.
The tournament awarded 13 players and the money bubble was Lev Gottlieb, the “LevMeAlone”, one of the highlights of the GGPoker Spring Festival.
