179 players who qualified from the three first days met yesterday in Day 2 that was played until the final table was formed. And after 10 hours we have our final 9 that will meet in Rozvadov, Czech Republic for the international part of 2020 WSOP $10,000 Championship Main Event.
Leading the final table with more than 10 million chips is Brazil’s Brunno "B Albuquerque" Botteon, followed by a Portugal’s Manuel "robocup" Ruivo (6.2m) and Damian Salas (5.6m), who already finished in 7th place at 2017 WSOP Main Event.
All the players have $75,359.92 locked up, but some of the finalist will have quite a travel to make from their respective countries to King’s Resort in Rozvadov, while Austrian Hannes "BlackFortuna" Speiser has a rather easy trip. But of course, there’s a big money prize on the line and WSOP Main Event bracelet, so we’re sure we’ll see every one at the live table in Czech Republic, if there’s no complications with required COVID health screening prior to live participation.
Final table will be played on December 15 with $1.5 million for first. Winner will play a Heads-Up match for Championship and additional $1m dollar reward against a US Final Table winner. Day 1 on WSOP.com starts on December 13th.
