Get Ready for the 32nd European Poker Championship at Casino Velden 11 Jul

The European Poker Championship Poker EM returns for its 32nd iteration from July 18 to 30, 2023, hosted by picturesque Casino Velden, Austria. Every year this prestigious event attracts poker enthusiast from all over the world, each player seeking to secure one of the seven European Championship titles.

The event features a range of high-stakes tournaments, ensuring that every poker player fins their niche. Kickstarting the championship is the NLH Welcome Event (€330 buy-in), followed by the NLH Ladies European Championship (€330 buy-in), offering a unique platform for the top female players in the game.

Additional tournaments include the NLH Showdown am Wörthersee (€550 buy-in), PL Omaha European Championship (€2,200 buy-in), and the Limit Seven Card Stud European Championship (€440 buy-in). The action continues with the NLH 6-Handed European Championship (€880 buy-in) and the NLH High Roller European Championship (€5,400 buy-in).

The centerpiece of the championship, the NLH European Poker Championship Main Event, boasts a buy-in of €2,750. Last year's championship saw 246 players battle for the grand prize, with the winner, Austrian Christian Leichtfried, securing €104,000 and the title after a heads-up deal.

Rounding off the championship are the NLH Wörthersee Poker Party (€330 buy-in) and the NLH Mystery Bounty European Championship (€1,100 buy-in), adding an extra element of excitement to the championship with one of the most popular poker formats right now.

In addition to the events, the European Poker Championship will also offer ample opportunities for players seeking continuous poker action. From July 18 to 30, cash games will run daily from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. These games will feature Texas Hold'em No Limit with a minimum buy-in of 200 Euros and blinds starting from 2/5 Euros.
