GGPoker Launches Sports Themed Bet & Go Tournaments
GG Network (Betkings, GGPoker, Natural8) has launched a new tournament format that combines sports and poker called Bet & Go and which will bring additional excitement of supporting your favorite sports teams.
Each Bet & Go tournament is matched to an upcoming sporting event, such as a football match at FIFA World Cup 2022. Two buy-in options are presented for each tournament, one for either opponent in the upcoming match, with buy-ins discounted by each team’s odds of winning. If you are supporting big favorites, you will have a smaller discount than some one backing up the underdogs.
Big twist of Bet & GO tournaments is that all surviving players, who were supporting the losing team, are automatically eliminated from the tournament, but can then choose to rebuy at a non-discounted buy-in.
“With Bet & Go tournaments, GGPoker players can support their favorite teams or simply take advantage of the biggest discounts and cheer for the underdogs,” said Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador. “Watch your team win the event and you’ll be free to continue to play your way into the money; it could be win-win for you!”
The first Bet & Go tournament with $50,000 prize pool will be held on Sunday, November 20 for a football match between Qatar and Ecuador, which kicks off at 4pm GMT / 5pm CET, the same time as tournament starts.
