New Evidence in the Robbi-Garrett Investigation? 07 Oct

Hustler Casino Live has posted an update to their investigation, which didn’t give us any concrete evidence of any player cheating, but their investigation discovered that HCL staff member stole $15,000 in poker chips from Robbi Jade Lew’s stack.

According to the statement released on Twitter, Bryan Sagbigsal was seen during a video review, removing chips from Robbi’s stack after the broadcast has concluded and while Robbi was away from the table.

Who is Bryan Sagbigsal?

Bryan Sagbigsal is not some random casino employee, but an employee of High Stakes Poker Productions, company that provides production for Hustler Live Casino and is owned by Nick Vertucci and Ryan Feldman. Sagbigsal role in the company is not a minor one as well as he is a sound and graphics technician and a video producer.

Of course, this could be just a random petty theft, but the fact that Sagbigsal oversees the graphics for the stream and has access to live cards and the fact that Robbi decided not to press criminal chargers against him, is making people’s mind go wild and is raising red flags in the poker community.

Currently most upvoted theory on reddit.

Sagbigsal was also defending the company and Robbi herself on twitter but has since deleted the account. He also has a criminal past. 6 years ago, he was involved in a robbery and a prison escape w/o force and was incarcerated in California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Poll: Did she cheat?

We asked our PokerPro community members if they think Robbi has cheated on HCL livestream during J4 hand and results can hardly be any closer. Out of 291 votes, 135 (46%) of you said she cheated and 121 people voted no (42%). 35 of you weren’t decided yet.

After this new plot twist, we will run the poll again and see if you have changed your mind on this matter.

Robbi’s Statement

As said, employee of High Stakes Poker Productions stealing $15,000 from her provides no evidence on Robbi actually cheating, but it’s quite a coincidence. We will have to wait for more information after thorough investigation is complete. For what is worth, here is Robbi’s statement for PokerNews.
