Smart Poker Tour in Bucharest, Romania Starts Tomorrow!

PokerPro team is off to another great event, this time in Bucharest, Romania where the Smart Poker Tour event will be played between 25 and 29 January. The venue is called Gentlemen’s Poker Club and you can expect pictures and reports from the event in the next few days. More information is in the article below.
 
A full week of events is announced and pre-registrations are already open. The Main Event will break all previous records with a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000. The tournament will have a buy-in of €500 and will have three starting days – 1A, 1B, and 1C Turbo. The starting stack is 30,000 chips.
 
On the launch days, there is late registration until the end of level 14. Blind levels on Day 1A and 1B are 30 minutes each, and on Day 1C – 20 minutes. On Day 2 and the Final Day – every 40 minutes.

Satellites

Every player who comes to the start of the festival on January 25th will have the opportunity to qualify for the Day 1A Satellite Main Event, which has a €75 buy-in and 10 guaranteed tickets. The format is unlimited re-entry in the first 12 levels, the blinds are 15 minutes apart, and the start time is 16:00. local time.
 
And on January 28 from 2:00 p.m. a €170 unlimited re-entry satellite with 20 guaranteed tickets to the High Roller tournament will be held. Starting stack – 10,000 chips, blinds – every 20 minutes.

Side tournaments

The Mystery Bounty tournament is becoming a regular fixture at Smart Poker Tour festivals. In addition, the program includes a €250 Pot Limit Omaha, a €1,000 High Roller with €100,000 guaranteed, and a €170 Last Chance.

Gentlemen’s Poker Club

The newly opened Gentlemen’s Poker Club has a total of 27 poker tables, entertainment areas, gambling, sports betting, and a bar. The poker room is located in the heart of Bucharest, at 29-33 Ion C. Brătianu Boulevard, and is set to become the hottest place in the Romanian capital.

During the main event you have the possibility of unlimited re-entry, in case of a waiting list, the new player having priority. Re-entries are added to the current waiting list.

Our recommendation is to come from the first day of start 1A, on day 1B the hall is full, with possibly 10 players at the table and waiting list.

Cash Games

Cash games will only be available in Ron, starting with blinds 10/25 round the clock. The rake applied by the club is 3% with caps at 5bb, 4bb, 3bb or 2bb. There is no minimum time limit on cash tables.
