Less than a week since Tony G confirmed his participation in Hustler Casino Live’s The Million Dollar Game, the Lithuanian cancels his HCL appearance with a message on Twitter saying he is “super tired” after a week of million dollar Triton Cash Games in North Cyprus, that will conclude this week and with Jason Koon taking down the Main Event for $2.4 million.
I feel bad but I will not be playing @HCLPokerShow - I apologise but been playing million dollar games in Cyprus every night for 10 days and the action continues and I am super tired. Look out for some exciting news about a huge game in London in the near future. pic.twitter.com/vgnKkhsf1q— Tony G (@TonyGuoga) May 23, 2023
Tony G was undoubtedly one of the most exciting additions to The Million Dollar Game lineup, so this will be pretty heartbreaking for the fans. Still, there are many other names that will surely bring a lot of action to the tables.
The games start on Friday, May 26, at 4 pm PT. A minimum of $1 million buy-in is expected from the players, with a $500k minimum reload. Joey Ingram and Veronica Brill will host the livestream; David Tuchman, Bart Hanson, DGAF, Norman Chad, and Christian Soto Vasquez will report from the commentary box.
Eric Persson, Stanley Tang, Benjamin Lee, Brandon Steven, Rob Yong, Jean-Robert Bellande, and Tony G was the lineup expected for the first day of The Million Dollar Game. At this point it’s still unknown who will replace the (crypo)businessman/politician as the news is still very fresh.
