Pokio Review

Pokio is the first real money social poker application for Android and iOS with Maltese Gaming license. It launched in 2017 and it offers soft NL Hold’em and PLO5 actions.

Cash Games

The most popular games are NL Hold’em and PLO5, also available for play are Omaha, OFC, Drawmaha and Mixed games. Limits are ranging from 0.10€/0.20€ with 10€ min buy-in and go all the way up to 10€/20€. You can find different tables sizes from 4-max to 8-max and 3-max for OFC.

Games are very soft, especially on the tables with straddles. With the slick interface and all social elements that a poker app needs – emojis, throwables, rabbit hunt, Pokio attracts a lot of recreationals.

MTTs

There are some tournaments on Pokio, mostly in smaller nature, but occasionally big tournaments or series are organized with big guarantee prize pools.

The €66,500 GTD GCA will take place from April 4th to 11th. The heart of the festival is the €50 Main Event, with a guaranteed prize pool of €35,000. There are several flights and, above all, numerous opportunities to qualify for little money.

Pokio Software

Pokio offers a great software with everything that an experienced user needs. Gameplay is smooth, with buttons easily accessible with a thumb. Players can set betting sizes for pre- and post-flop beforehand. With click on your opponent avatar you open up a windows with displayed stats and additional actions.

At the tables you will find popular throwables in form of Tomatoes, Flower, Sharks, Beer and more. You can also communicate through various emojis. A special currency Diamonds can be used for a Rabbit Hunt feature.
