Controversy
Bonomo was caught entering major online poker tournaments using multiple accounts.
Multi-accounting, which is against terms of service at all poker sites and a form of cheating, is when an online poker player plays under multiple accounts or plays under someone else’s account.
In 2006, Bonomo entered and won a tournament on Partypoker for a six-figure score. During the event, he was caught playing under six different screen names. He was immediately banned from the poker site for life.
Many people have forgotten about this happening or have never heard of it.
