It’s time for Day 3 of the €5,300 Main Event here in EPT Paris. Bubble burst yesterday so all 174 players left are already in the money with a minimum €10,650 prize locked up, but all eyes are on the first-place prize of €1,170,000.
The current chip leader is Ukraine’s Rostyslav Sabishchenko, who will start the Day 3 with 180 big blinds and right behind him are two online beasts Harry “Iamapoopie” Lodge and Niklas “Lena900” Åstedt with 169 and 162 big blinds, respectively.
Many other big names still in the field, including Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger, Adrian Mateos, Teun Mulder, Roberto Romanello, and others.
The one who is not in anymore is PokerStars Ambasador Lex Veldhuis, who is making awesome poker vlogs in Paris with a very short turnaround, so you can follow his progress almost live. Check out how he got knocked out in his first Main Event bullet down below.

With 1,606 entries EPT Paris Main Event is now officially the biggest EPT outside of Barcelona, but that still makes it “only” the 7th biggest in history. Yes, Spaniards are just that crazy about poker, so last year’s Main Event in Barcelona still remains on the top with 2,294 entries.
Very impressive debut in Paris nonetheless, which it seems surprised the PokerStars as well as there were many unsatisfied players waiting in long lines for registration to the tournaments. One of them was Chris Brewer, who then went and win two high rollers back-to-back for a total of €1,316,700.
