888poker LIVE Heads to Manchester for Fourth Stop of 2024 Season

888poker LIVE is heading to Manchester for the fourth stop of its 2024 season. After successful events in Madrid, Bucharest, and Barcelona, it’s time to return to the UK, where the 888poker LIVE journey began in 2015. Originally planned to take place at the famous VIC in London, the event has been relocated to Grosvenor Casino’s Bury New Road in Manchester and will run from August 14 to 25.

Manchester, known for its rich industrial heritage and vibrant cultural scene, offers a perfect backdrop for this prestigious poker event. The city is renowned for its dynamic nightlife and historic landmarks, and as a hub for sports, particularly football, being home to United and City.

The twelve-day festival promises a plethora of poker action, kicking off with a bang with the first flight of the £440 buy-in Mystery Bounty event and a £100 Ladies event. The highlight of the series will undoubtedly be the £1,100 buy-in Main Event, featuring four first-day flights starting on Wednesday, August 21, and concluding with the crowning of a new champion on Sunday, August 25.

The UK has been a prominent host for 888poker LIVE events, with three events held last year. Raymond Caabay triumphed in the £400 London event in February, taking home €55,085. In April, The Vic hosted the second event with a £1,100 buy-in, where David McConachie emerged victorious, pocketing £83,100. The season finale in Coventry saw Yiannis Liperis claim the £888 Main Event title and a £120,000 prize.
