The female chess streamer Alexandra Botez continues to do well in the Mistery Cash Challenge, where she got a double-up, won the mystery prize, and is currently on top of the leaderboard.
The rules of this format are such that the first nine hands serve as qualifications for the 10th hand, which is the “bombed pot,” which means that all players will have to invest €100 to see the pot and the mystery prize and bonus prize will be added to the pot.
In the first episode of the Mistery Cash Challenge, Alex got a double-up, won the mystery prize, and became the first on the list of winners. In the second episode, we could see Alex playing lots of pots, a good part of which she won, including the Bombed Pot with the mystery prize, a €5,300 ticket!
The bombed pot started with all six players in hand, and Alex decided to bet with T-high in the other five players; she got a call from Marie Ho, who held KJo, specifically 2nd pair J on the As5cJh flop.
The turn came 8c, which gave Alex an open-ended straight draw, and she followed with a €1,000 bet into a €1,200 pot, and Maria called once more.
The river comes 9c, to which Alex fires a €5,000 overbet into a €3,200 pot, prompting Maria to fold the better hand. You can watch the entire second episode below.
