Amateur Poker Association Tour (APAT) Partners with GGPoker

After several years of the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) running on partypoker, the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) announced a new strategic partnership with GGPoker.

APAT was established in 2006 and is best known as a community of amateur poker players that compete in live and online events, offering a supportive and friendly environment. The tour provides affordable and professionally run events with reasonable finishing times. Many poker community members, such as Liv Boeree, Roberto Romanello, and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell, have done well at the APAT tournaments at the start of their careers. From our PokerPro.cc community, Jan Stražišar became the amateur world champion in the 6-max event in 2021.

Through this partnership, APAT and GGPoker will work together to support the growth of amateur poker, where APAT members will have an opportunity to develop their skills, compete in prestigious events, and connect with poker enthusiasts worldwide through GG’s advanced platform and extensive player base, as the poker site is currently ranked number 1 in terms of traffic.
GGPoker will also host the APAT’s World Championship of Amateur Poker, exclusive online events for APAT members, and qualifiers for live events.
