The Lodge, co-owned by Doug Polk, Brad Owen, and Andrew Neeme, is giving $100,000 to one random player!
The giveaway is happening on New Year’s Day, and it will include all players who are in the game when the hourly drawing happens and are members of the card club. Hourly winners will get a drawing ticket for the $100,000 prize.
“We do hope that we will offset this cost with increased business, but we are not passing on any additional cost for this to our members,” said Polk
“We want to occasionally offer promotions that make people excited to come play poker,” He continued. “Generally speaking, I think promotions do tend to be overused in poker. But I do think they have their place, and as a very large poker room, we have the flexibility to run big promotions like this one.”
“I think that too many poker promotions are complicated and hard to follow. This one is easy.”
The Lodge is located in Texas near Austin, and it’s one of the prominent spots for cash games and tournaments in Texas.
Before the trio bought a stake in the card room, Lodge had already been established in the Texas poker market.
