Eight Women Are Nominated for Poker Hall of Fame in 2024

Eight of the best female poker players are running for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame in 2024, and the competition is tough. The nominees are not only good poker players but also outstanding personas and ambassadors of poker outside of the poker tables.

The Nominees

Kristen Bicknell Foxen is considered the best female poker player in the world right now and has achieved great results playing live and online. Kristen has made over $8,4 million in total live earnings, with her most significant score being $600,000, which came from the 2024 WSOP Main event, where she came 13th. She is also a proud owner of four WSOP bracelets and has made Supernova Elite status three times.

Liv Boeree has made over $3.8 million playing live MTTs and is the only female poker player to win a WSOP bracelet and EPT Main Event. Her most significant live cash came after winning the EPT Main Event in 2010 when she bagged $1,698,300. Liv also dedicated her life to helping others through foundations and charities.

Kara Scott is a former 888Poker ambassador and TV personality known for broadcasting WSOP, High Stakes Poker, and Poker Night Live. She has also earned over $660,000 in live MTTs, with her most significant win being second place in the IPO Main event for $413,612.

Jennifer Shahade has a fantastic mind and thrives in two major skill games: Chess and Poker. Jennifer is a chess Grandmaster and has won the US women’s National Championship two times. She has made over $486,000 in total live earnings, with her most significant win coming after she won €10,000 TonyBet Open Face Chinese Pineapple – Highroller Event for $122,827.

Annette Oberstad is a female poker player known online as “Annette_15” who has built her bankroll online by playing freerolls before she switched to live poker and won the WSOPE Main Event for $2,013,733, which is still her most significant live MTT win. Oberstad has made $3,942,233 in total live earnings and is ranked fourth in Norway’s All-Time Money List.

Rebecca McAdam Willetts is a fantastic poker persona who has raised over $1,5 million for charity through PokerStars events. She also founded a PR and marketing company to support women in male-dominated businesses.

Jamie Kerstetter is a professional poker player with over $950,000 in total live earnings and a WSOPC Ring, which she won online in 2022. She is also known as the broadcaster of the WSOP, filling the female voice gap where it is needed.

Jeanne David specializes in mixed games with $250,000 in live winnings in all kinds of poker games. Jeanne was the head of responsible gaming for PokerStars and was one of the ambassadors for poker legalization.
