After 3 days of World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, only 42 players remain in the contention for a coveted gold bracelet and whooping prize of €1,380,129. At the top of the chip count is GGPoker’s qualifier Alexandre Reard with 5,100,000 chips.
This year’s field was a record-breaking once again with 763 entries, beating last year figure of 688, and continuing the upward trend for WSOP Europe Main Events. It also smashed the guaranteed prize pool set at €5 million as the number stopped at €7,248,500 and paying top 115 spots.
Today, remaining 42 players who already have a guaranteed payout of €29,562, will play down to the final six, who will move on to Final day, which will play down to a winner.
There are many familiar faces still in the game. Five-time WSOP bracelet winner and 2018 WSOP Player of the Year Shaun Deeb is in prime position for another great run as he bagged 2,475,000 chips for a top 10 stack yesterday. This is his incredible 7th cash in Rozvadov with two 3rd place finishes.
