Following a successful 2024 launch in London, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) sets its sights on Manchester for its next leg. Get ready to shuffle up and deal in a city where the weather might be unpredictable, but the poker action is always hot!
Manchester often teased for its rainy days, is about to witness a downpour of a different kind – a flood of poker enthusiasts ready for 11 great events spread over 12 action-packed days from January 31 to February 11, hosted by the Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road.
The centerpiece of the tour’s Manchester leg is the Main Event, boasting a £1,250 buy-in and an anticipated prize pool of £600,000. Players will take their seats across three Day 1 flights on Thursday and Friday, February 8 and 9, leading to Day 2 on Saturday and the Final Day on Sunday, February 11.
In addition to the Main Event, the Manchester stop is packed with a variety of side events, including the ever-popular Mystery Bounty, Mini Main Event, High Roller, GUKPT Cup, and more. These events cater to a wide range of poker players, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Last year’s Manchester £1,250 Main Event saw Calogore Moreale emerge victorious, pocketing £106,700 after outlasting a field of 445 players.

Grosvenor has also announced some updates to their 2024 GUKPT Dates. The Blackpool leg has been moved up a week and will now take place from March 10-17. Edinburgh and Leeds have swapped dates, with the Scottish series scheduled for April 4-14 and the English one in Leeds from May 30 to June 9.
