Bluff doesn’t work for Airball

Airball with Q4 in BB raises to $20,000 vs Yu, who was in straddle, and Yu calls with KQ. The pot is $43,000.

The flop comes K68, Airball c-bets for $15,000, and Yu calls. The pot is $73,000.

The turn comes 3, and Airball continues barreling for $50,000 with a Qhigh flush draw, and Yu just calls with the top pair. The pot is $173,000.

The river comes 10, and after a bit of thinking, Airball goes all-in for $202,000 and gets snap-called by Yu, who wins the pot of $577,000.

Airball’s gets him back!

Robl opens to $6,000, Airball and Yu make the call, but Tang goes for a squeeze to $35,000 with his JJ; only Airball calls with A6. The pot is $87,000.

The flop comes 9710, and both players check. The pot is $87,000.

The turn comes 5, and Airball stabs for $37,000, Tang calls. The pot is $161,000.

The river comes to K, and Airball goes for all-in bluff for $233,000; Tang goes into a tank and says to Airball that he got greedy but folds in the end. Airball shows the bluff and wins the pot of $394,000.

Adams gets coolerd!

Adams opens to $5,000 with 87 and gets 3betted by Robl to $40,000 with KQ; Adams calls. The pot is $83,000.

The flop comes 495; both players check. The pot is $83,000.

The turn comes 10, and both players check again. The pot is $83,000.

The river comes J and gives both players the straight, but Robl is the one with the nuts. Robl checks and Adams goes for a bet of $70,000. Robl re-raises to $350,000 and puts Adams into a tough spot, but he decides to call and loses the pot of $783,000.

Cruel downswing continues for Gavri

Gavri opens to $5,000 with AK and gets hit with a 3bet from Airball to $30,000 with AA; Gavri responds with a 4bet to $85,000, Airball shoves and Gavri calls. The pot is $640,000.

The first runout comes 631085, and Airball’s aces hold.

The second runout comes Q7397, and Airball’s aces hold again.
