Biggest Pot in History of HSP!

A colossal hand happened when Suvarna 3-betted with AK vs. Robl’s open with 54, and Robl called. The pot was $112,000.

The flop came with 442, and Robl flopped trips and checked OOP with 99.4 percent of equity. Suvarna c-bets for $45,000, robl just calls. The pot is $202,000.

The turn comes K, which looks suitable for Suvarna, but he still has only two outs to win the hand. Both players decide to check, and the pot is $202,000.

The river comes K, and it’s one of two outs Suvarna needed to get paid big. Robl bets $300,000, and Suvarna goes all-in for $95,000 more. Robl is priced in and has to call with his hand, and he does. The pot is $992,000, and it is the biggest pot in High Stakes Poker history. Suvarna shows him the winning hand and scoops the pot!

Adams makes a disciplined fold with a strong flush

Adams limps in as SB with his K9 vs. Robl, who is on BB with A2 and checks. The pot is $6,000.

The flop comes 3104, Adams flops a flush and goes for a check-raise to $12,000 vs. Robl’s $3,000 bet, and Robl calls. The pot is $30,000.

The turn comes J, Adams continues with aggression and bets $30,000, and Robl calls. The pot is $90,000.

The river comes 7 and saves Robl, giving him “almost nuts” with his A-high flush. Adams goes for the third barrel for $90,000 and gets re-raised to $190,000 by Robl. The pot is $370,000, and Adams has an attractive price on a call but recognizes that the spot is underbluffed and makes a great fold.

Airball Dodges the Bullet!

Airball opens to $5,000 with 75 and gets 3-betted to $20,000 by Robl with 72 Airball calls. The pot is $45,000.

The flop comes 548, Robl c-bets for $30,000, and Airball calls. The pot is $105,000.

The turn comes 6, giving both players a straight but giving Robl a backdoor flushdraw. Airball leads for $70,000, Robl raises to $175,000, and Airball shoves and gets called for a total pot of $887,000.

Airball was unhappy when he saw that both of them had the same hand, but the Robl could hit a flush and freerolled him with 20 percent to win and 80 percent to split. They run it twice, and Airball dodges hearts during both runouts, and they split the pot.
