The flop comes J♦4♠K♥. Robl check-folds to Elamawy’s bet of $60,000. Robl shows his 5♥3♦ and asks Elamawy if he has a similar hand, and Elamawy responds with “maybe” and a laugh.
Gavri Continues His Run From Last Season
Gavri opened to $3,600, and three players called, so we went to flop multiway. The pot was $15,100.
The flop is Q♣J♠5♠, Brownstein hit the top pair with his K♦Q♥, and he decides to lead for $10,900. Elamawy and Yokosawa fold, but Gavri calls with A♦10♥, trying to hit the gutshot. The pot was $36,900.
The turn K♥ is the best possible card for Gavri and the worst possible for Brownstein. Both players improved their hand, but Gavri had Brownstein dominated. Brownstein continued with a $30,000 bet, and Gavri shoved for $90,000. Brownstein took a few moments to think and called eventually. The pot was $216,900.
They decided to run it twice; the first river was K♠, and the second one was 3♣ for a split.
Elamawy Hits the River

The turn was 5♦, giving Elamawy and Gavri the flushdraw. Robl checked, Elamawy checked, and Gavri bet $50,000. Elamawy called. The pot was $221,700.
The river comes A♥, and Gavri bets $69,000 to get snap-called by Elamawy, who hit the top pair on the river. Elamawy won the pot of $359,700.
