The PokerGo Masters festival ended last Thursday at Aria Casino in Las Vegas, and the unique trophy (Purple Jacket) has a new owner.
Jim Callopy from the United States won the leaderboard of PokerGo Highroller Masters in front of Isaac Haxton, who finished in second place. Callopy was awarded a $25,000 PokerGo Tour passport and a PokerStars Gold Pass for the NAPT in Las Vegas for winning the leaderboard.
Callopy didn’t manage to take down a win in the events, but he got four final tables, including two second places, one third place, and one sixth place, for a total of $521,600. Leaderboard ranking correlated with money won during the Highroller festival.
Event | Place | Prize | PGT Points |
---|---|---|---|
Event #3: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em | 6th | $47,000 | 47 |
Event #4: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em | 3rd | $105,300 | 105 |
Event #5: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em | 2nd | $142,500 | 143 |
Event #6: $15,100 No-Limit Hold’em | 2nd | $226,800 | 227 |
Isaac Haxton was also ranked second in money won during the festival accordingly. Haxton’s heads-up win over Callopy in $15,100 No Limit Hold’em – Poker Masters Event #6 wasn’t enough to win him the purple jacket, but the main prize of $352,800 was a good consolation prize.
Callopy also lost a heads-up battle against David Chen in $10,100 No Limit Hold’em – Poker Masters Event #5, who came in 10th place, with that win being his only cash ($217,500) in the festival. David Chen also became the youngest champion in the history of the PokerGo Tour. This was Chen’s most significant win of his live MTT career.
