Malta Poker Festival; Your Perfect Poker Holiday Returning April 24

The Spring is here, and so is the return of the most exciting and friendliest low buy-in poker festival in Europe – The Malta Poker Festival Spring edition!

2023 MPF will be held in Portomaso Casino from April 24 to May 1 and will feature two dozen events and many off-the-felt activities that will connect players from all around the world with the fantastic and vibrant local poker community.

The festival’s highlight will be the MPF Grand Event powered by Unibet DSO with a €300,000 guaranteed prize pool for a €550 buy-in. The play gets underway on Wednesday, April 26, with Day 1A. Four more starting flights will take place throughout the week with eight levels of play and up to 2 re-entries. All surviving players will qualify for Day 2 on Sunday, April 30, and Day 3 with a Final Table will commence the next day.

In addition to the Main Event, loads of side events will be running with buy-ins ranging from €120 to €1,100 for a High Roller. That includes The Hendon Mob Championship, HORSE 5 Game Mix, Crazy Pineapple, Bounty Hunter, Ladies First event, APAT Maltese Championship, PLO tournament, and more.

For over ten years, Portomaso Casino has been the heart and soul of poker on the island of Malta. Casino is in the heart of St. Julian with a vibrant nightlife and is just a stone’s throw away from various nightclubs and Portomaso Marina, where all the best restaurants are located.

Malta will be swarming with poker players in the following months. Besides the 2023 MPF, two other prominent poker festivals will be held in St. Julian’s casinos. From May 14 to 21, The Festival is moving from the online tables at 888poker to the live tables in Portomaso Casino, and Battle of Malta, one of Europe’s biggest poker events, is coming from May 31 until June 6.
