Not many poker festivals dedicate themselves entirely to the great game that is Pot Limit Omaha, but those that do consistently deliver thrilling action at the tables.
Expectations are high once again as the King’s Resort in Rozvadov announces the return of the PLO The Big Wrap series, set to take place from February 5 to 12, 2024. The festival, renowned for its high-octane PLO action, is poised to attract many of the best PLO players from around the globe, with a guarantee of more than €2.6 million.
The previous Big Wrap festival, held last September, set record-breaking numbers. The €10,000 Diamond PLO High Roller event attracted 221 players, creating a new European record with a massive €2,036,515 prize pool. Quan Zhou emerged victorious, outlasting Finnish pro Eelis Pärssinen and taking home €500,000.
This year, the Diamond event is again expected to be the festival’s centerpiece, boasting a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. But the excitement doesn’t end there. Other major events include the €5k PLO Master with a €500,000 guarantee, the €3K PLO Mystery Bounty promising €300,000, and the €2k Main Event featuring a guaranteed €500,000 prize pool.
Beyond these headline events, a variety of side events (including No Limit Hold’em events) and cash games will keep the PLO action buzzing throughout the festival at Rozvadov. For poker enthusiasts who cannot make it to the Czech Republic, King’s Resort ensures they don’t miss out on the excitement. The festival’s key moments and final tables will be livestreamed on their YouTube channel, bringing the thrill of high-stakes PLO directly to fans worldwide.
