Poker crypto users are smiling right now as their bankroll just saw a sudden rise, while they didn’t even have to play a hand of poker.
Bitcoin has exploded over the last two months, almost doubling in price since September and it’s very close to the all-time high of $20,000 set back in December 2017.
Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more popular as a medium of exchange on many poker sites, due to ease of access and fast transactions. PayPal has also announced it will allow customers to trade and spend Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.
Bloomberg reported that players who are cashing out their winnings on Winning Poker Network (Americas Cardroom, PokerKing), 95% are requesting to be paid in Bitcoin during this bull run. The site is making BTC purchases worth around $160 million a month, which is a 60% increase over the previous $100 million mark.
Americas Cardroom and PokerKing are even offering a bigger deposit bonus for using cryptocurrency. While a regular welcome bonus is worth 100% up to $1,000, a cryptocurrency deposit will get you 200% up to $1,000.
WPN is not the only network that uses Bitcoins as a mean of deposits. In PokerPro offer you can also find TigerGaming and BetOnline on Chico Network, Intertops and Juicy Stakes on Horizon Network, Bodog.eu and Bovada.
You can also use cryptocurrencies for deposits and cashouts on all poker apps such as PokerBros, PPPoker or Upoker.
