The PokerGO Tour (PGT), which paused during the 2023 World Series of Poker, is set to resume with a series of high-roller events lined up. The last complete series witnessed was the US Poker Open in April, followed closely by the Aria High Roller tournaments during the concluding part of the WSOP.
Kicking off the resumed PGT is the 2023 Poker Masters, slated from September 14-26, promising 10 events packed with action and best players in the world fighting for Purple Jacket. Following closely, fans of mixed games are in for the PGT Mixed Games II, spanning October 5-14, with a rich roster of 9 tournaments in formats like H.O.R.S.E., 8-Game, 10-Game, Triple Stud, and Triple Draw, among others.
Freshly announced, the Super High Roller Bowl PLO comes with a staggering $100,000 buy-in. Scheduled for October 16-18 at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, this pot-limit Omaha tournament is bound to lure the world’s top PLO aficionados. The final showdowns over two days promise live streaming for viewers.
Hot on its heels, the PGT PLO Series will run from October 19-30. This will be the season’s second installment after a smashing debut that drew over 1,000 entrants, awarding close to $10 million.
Adding zest to November, four ARIA High Roller $10,000 NL Hold’em tournaments have been chalked out for November 27-30. Moreover, PGT presents the unique PGT Last Chance series, now scheduled for January 2-7, 2024. Designed as a golden opportunity for players, it allows them to boost their leaderboard standing and potentially land a spot in the season-ending PGT Championship.
The grand finale, the PGT Championship, is now scheduled for January 9-10, 2024. This tournament, held at the PokerGO Studio, is an invitation-only event for the top 40 players on the PGT leaderboard. Their starting chips reflect their achievements throughout the regular season. The winner gets to walk away with a whopping $500,000.
Entering the 2023 Poker Masters, WSOP Main Event winner Daniel Weinman leads the PGT leaderboard with 2,300 points.
