Last weekend, there was the first-ever women-only poker festival in Europe, Queens of Tallinn 2023.
Marta Porter won €350 Main Event, which accumulated a prize pool of €19,246 with 65 entries.
The festival drew over 150 poker players from 15 countries who competed in 11 different events.
In the main event, Porter dominated and got the vicotry, plus nice payout of €6,167.
Caitlin Müür got second place and won €4,050, while Lithuania’s Indre Martoviciute ended in third position, walking away with €2,740.
The festival also had both gender tournament that Imre Leibold won.
Christer Larsson, Poker Director, said: “With the first women’s poker festival, we wanted to give women more opportunities to test themselves in a competitive situation against other female players. We are delighted with the positive feedback from so many women.”
