Rampage Looking for Stake for $1,000,000 WPT Big One for One Drop

Ethan “Rampage” Yau has been on an absolute tear poker-wise over the past year. From winning the $25,000 World Championship High Roller pocketing $894,240, to securing his first WSOP bracelet and sixth WSOP Circuit Ring. Not to mention signing sponsorship deal with WPT Global and winning more than $1.5 million on Hustler Casino Live. And most recently, he took down the Mini Main Event at WPT Australia.

Yet, it appears he’s thirsting for more.

As it looks like, Rampage has set his eyes on the upcoming WPT Big One for One Drop with a massive $1,000,000 buy-in. He took it to twitter to gauge interest from his followers. So far, he has been very successful in finding backers to the tournaments he listed on the StatkeKings website, often selling out spots rapidly. But a $1,000,000 buy-in is a whole different ball game.

That said, if there’s someone beyond the stratosphere of poker super elites and deep-pocketed businessmen who can pull it off, it might be Yau. Popular YouTuber has amassed quite a following over the years with 260K subscribers just on the platform alone.

The $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop is making its grand return to the live poker arena after the last event was played in 2018 and Justin Bonomo took it down for $10,000,000. This year, it will be a part of the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. Several players have already confirmed their participation, including poker legends Phil Ivey and Dan “Jungleman” Cates, high-stakes regulars Rick Salomon and Talal Shakerchi, as well as Chris Brewer, Nick Petrangelo, and hedge fund magnate David Enhorn.
