Manuel Fischer Wins The Festival No Limit Hold’em Highroller!

German poker professional Manuel Fischer takes the victory in The Festival HighRoller event, taking home €22,400 first place prize after beating 85 other contestants. Main Event Day 2 is being played today and the 500k guarantee was easily exceeded.
 
The highlight of yesterday’s action at The Festival in Bratislava was the HighRoller event where the guarantee was set at €30,000 and was already a thing of the past before the start of the tournament. The 1,100€ entrance fee attracted a high-quality field of players, which together created 86 entries, with which the “highrollers” collected a prize pool of €81,700. In the end it was Manuel Fischer who took home the title of champion, a trophy and a reward of €22,400.

A total of 1271 players registered to the main event which means that the €500k guarantee was exceeded by more than €100k. The bubble burst not long ago and the first place prize is set at €126,650.
