Dylan Bradley Snags the Title and £71,650 at UKIPT London Main Event

Hippodrome Casino in London was once again host of a major PokerStars LIVE series as Dylan Bradley emerged victorious at the £1,100 UKIPT London Main Event, clinching the title and a handsome £71,650 in prize money.

The event, which is the fifth stop of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) season, saw a total of 374 entries, generating a prize pool of £359,040. This wave of excitement rode high on the heels of the Brighton stop, where popular poker streamer Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg seized his first major live tournament win.

The action on Day 2 saw 56 players, already in the money, returning to the felt. The day concluded with the elimination of Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson, who became the final table bubble boy, and the exit of Farid Fawzi, leaving eight players to advance to the final day of play.

Day 3 unfolded at a brisk pace, with Bradley showcasing a dominant performance. He initiated the final table bloodshed by sending Dohyun Kim and Oscar Kirby-Hogarty to the rail in 8th and 7th places, respectively. The tempo of the table seemed to shift momentarily when starting day chip leader, Daniel Bedson from Rugby, took charge, orchestrating the eliminations of Eliot Granjon in 6th and Mantas Urbonas in 5th.

However, Bedson’s reign was short-lived. A monumental pot swung the momentum in Bradley’s favor, who then capitalized on this fortune by eliminating Bedson in 4th place with pocket tens.

Heading into the three-handed battle, Newcastle’s Bradley commanded a chip lead that more than doubled the stacks of his opponents. His aggression subdued Bojidar Boiadjiev’s valiant efforts to nurture his short stack, who finally succumbed in 3rd place.

The heads-up duel against Stephen Cherry was a quick affair. Cherry, holding top pair on a 678 board, was in a perilous stand against Bradley’s 97. The turn card completed Bradley’s straight, securing his victory and the coveted title.

The Irish and British poker community now turns its attention towards the next UKIPT stop in Edinburgh, scheduled to run from October 26 to 29.
