About three weeks ago we made a bold prediction (not really) that the Main Event at EPT Barcelona will be a record-breaking event, which has now been confirmed. Late registrations and single re-entries were open until the start of Day 2, so the final tally is 2,294 entries in the €5,300 EPT Main Event!
It totally smashed the previous record of 1,988 entries from 2019 and this wasn’t the only record-breaking event in Barcelona. Estrelllas Poker Tour Main Event that finished earlier this week saw 6,313 entries and is now the largest live poker tournament in EPT history.
