Women in Poker Hall of Fame Has Three New Members

Eight women were nominated for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame last month, and this week, we got the winners. Kristen Foxen, Jeanne David, and Stella Brodie were inducted into the Hall of Fame. The official date of induction is December 11.2024, at the Plaza Hotel and Casino.

The inductees were picked by media, poker industry insiders, and members of Women in Poker Hall of Fame.

New Hall of Fame Inductees

Kristen Foxen

Kristen Bicknell Foxen is considered the best female poker player in the world right now and has achieved great results playing live and online. Kristen has made over $8,4 million in total live earnings, with her most significant score being $600,000, which came from the 2024 WSOP Main event, where she came 13th. She is also a proud owner of four WSOP bracelets and has made Supernova Elite status three times.

Jeanne David

Jeanne David specializes in mixed games, with $250,000 in live winnings in all kinds of poker games. She was the head of responsible gaming for PokerStars and one of the ambassadors for poker legalization. She was also one of the leading names in convincing governments and senators that responsible gaming can be done in live and online poker.

Stella Brodie

Stella Brodie passed away in 2014. She is one of the lesser-known female poker players in the mainstream, but Brodie has made significant achievements in poker. She won two WSOP bracelets: the first in 1979, playing a mixed-doubles team with Doyle Brunson, and the second in 1995, when she won the $1,000 buy-in Women’s Seven Card Stud event. Brodie was also the first woman to win the WSOP bracelet.

The ceremony will start at 11 AM, and the main speaker will be the star of High Stakes Poker, Jennifer Tilly.
