After a highly successful 2023, culminating in a record-breaking WPT Prime Championship where Calvin Anderson took home $1,386,280, the WPT Prime is set to inaugurate its new season of mid-range buy-in festivals in the heart of France. The upcoming event will unfold at the Pasino GRAND Aix-En-Provence from January 26 to February 5, a venue synonymous with luxury and excitement. Qualify to WPT Aix-En-Provence on WPT Global for as low as $5!
The highlight of the festival will be the Main Event with an accessible buy-in of €1,100 that is expected to attract players worldwide. The tournament is scheduled to have three Day1 starting flights from February 1-3, leading up to Day 2 on Sunday, February 4. The Final Day and the crowning of a new champion will take place a day later.
Last year’s edition saw local player Samy Boujmala clinch the title, taking home €93,580 along with a €10,400 entry package to the WPT World Championship, and this year promises similar excitement.
