The WPT Choctaw festival, a regular of the World Poker Tour (WPT) since its inclusion in 2015, is once again ready to draw a big crowd of poker enthusiasts. Nestled in the luxurious Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant, the 2024 edition is already underway, having kicked off on April 17 and set to run through May 6. As one of the most anticipated stops on the WPT circuit, WPT Choctaw continues to draw players from across the US with its rich field schedule.
The highlight of the festival is the WPT Championship event, scheduled from May 3 to 6, featuring a $3,800 buy-in and a hefty $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The structure includes two starting days on May 3 and 4, which will pave the way for two subsequent rounds and a televised final table on Monday, May 6. On this day, a new champion will be crowned and have their name etched onto the iconic Mike Sexton Champions Cup.
