Dadi17 from Israel Triumphs in Record-Breaking WSOP Circuit Main Event at King’s Resort

Dadi17 from Israel emerged as the champion of the WSOP Circuit Main Event at King’s Resort, Rozvadov, claiming a top prize of €200,000, a seat at the WSOP Europe Main Event, and the esteemed WSOPC ring.

The final day of the event saw eight players vying for the top spot from a field of 1,247 entries, which generated an impressive total prize pool of €1,184,650. Caner Toker from Switzerland started the final table as the chip leader, closely followed by Romania’s Grecu C. and Dadi17.

The dynamics at the table shifted rapidly. While Grecu was ousted in 6th place by Vladimer Gigolashvili, Gigolashvili himself was later eliminated by Toker in 5th place. Dadi17, on the other hand, steadily climbed up the ranks, eliminating fellow Israeli Barak Oz in 4th place and Germany’s Nadel Seleman in 3rd, setting the stage for a head-to-head battle with Toker.

Despite his successive eliminations, Dadi17 entered the heads-up battle at a slight disadvantage, holding 52 big blinds to Toker’s 73. However, a key hand soon arrived.

Heads-Up

Dadi17, holding AKo, faced a 3-bet from Toker with AJo. After a 4-bet from Dadi17, Toker went all-in, and Dadi17 quickly called. A King on the flop significantly diminished Toker’s stack to just 13 big blinds.

The match could have concluded in the very next hand, but Toker managed to hit a lucky river to extend his tournament life. This reprieve, however, was short-lived. In the final hand, Toker, holding Q9, went all-in only to be called by Dadi17’s KQ. The board offered no help to Toker, securing Dadi17’s victory as the WSOP Circuit Main Event champion.
