$4,500,000 PKO Series at Bodog Poker

The Canadian-friendly poker room Bodog is hosting its first-ever PKO series from June 1 to 30. The guaranteed prize will be $4,5 million across 104 events.

The highlights are always on Sundays: on July 6, 13, 20 e 27 there’s a $100 K GTD with $ 162 buy-in event and a $100 K GTD high roller event with$ 325 buy-in. Since it’s a PKO format, a percentage of the buy-in is converted to bounty and paid to the one who eliminates that player. However, while most other big online poker rooms convert 50% of the buy-in to bounty, Bodog uses a formula that converts only 17% to 50% of the buy-in to bounty.
 
PKO Series at Bodog will feature two main events:

• PKO Series Main Event #90 — $250kGTD, Buy-in: $300 + $125 + $25, June 27. No re-buys, no add-ons, up to 5 reentries. Starting stack: 15,000 chips. 18 levels of late registration period (270 minutes).
• PKO Series Mini Main #89 — $100kGTD, Buy-in $70 + $30 + $9, same structure as the ME.

The Main Event and Mini ME need to collect at least 833 and 1,428 entries, respectively, which won’t be a problem for the site. Overlays are not common here. Satellites with 3 tickets guaranteed are available daily for $55.
