The WPT World Online Championships only concluded a couple of weeks ago but the World Poker Tour is heading back to partypoker from October 7, this time in its popular WPTDeepStacks format.
WPTDeepStacks, as the name suggests, are the WPT’s deep stack poker tournament series. Expect generous starting stacks (200 big blinds) and excellent blind structures that allow the cream to rise to the top.
There are nine numbered events taking place between October 7-25 that have a range of buy-ins, and combined guaranteed prize pools in excess of $2.8 million.
It is the WPTDeepStacks Opener that gets the show on the road at 18:05 BST on October 7. This even comes with a $215 buy-in and a $200,000 guarantee. As in previous festivals, the WPTDeepStacks festival sees Mini editions of events that cost approximately one-tenth of the larger buy-in event.
The biggest guaranteed prize pool on the schedule weighs in at a cool $1 million. Of course, this is reserved for the WPTDeepStacks Main Event. The Main Event costs $1,100 to enter, but we have dozens of cut-price satellites feeding into what will be an incredible tournament.
$0.01 buy-in centrolls feed into $4.40 Phase 1, which award $22 Phase 2 tickets. The final Phases cost $109 to buy into, unless you win your way into them, and they come with an incredible 100x $1,100 seats guaranteed! The first of these Mega Sat Phase Finals shuffles up and deals at 16:05 BST on October 10.
Buy into whichever stage you and your bankroll are comfortable with.
