The biggest tournament on Winning Poker Network (PokerKing) The Venom, will return for its seventh edition this summer with a record-breaking $10 million guarantee.
Scheduled to run from July 20, it will be the operator’s first eight-figure guaranteed tournament and the largest tournament held by any operator post-Black Friday that is open to players from the US.
As seen in every edition, the format and the buy-in will be the same: There will be four Day 1 flights spread over ten days, with each flight costing the usual $2650 to enter.
Tournament Schedule
The Venom with $2,650 buy-in and $10,000,000 guarantee in 2023 will be running between July 20th and August 3rd. It’ll have 5 flights with the same structure:
- Starting stack — 300,000 chips (187.5 bb);
- Late registration — 28 levels;
- 20 minutes blinds;
- Plays until the end of level 28 (9 hours and 20 minutes gameplay plus breaks).
All flights started at the same time of day — 1:05 pm ET. Their schedule was:
- Day 1A — July 20th, 2023;
- Day 1B — July 23rd, 2023;
- Day 1C — July 27th, 2023;
- Day 1D — July 29th, 2023;
- Day 1E — July 30th, 2023.
