The Irish Poker Championship is back in 2023 and there was no better way to start it off than with a first-ever Mystery Bounty tournament. PokerPro's Josh Stewart is continuing his streak of amazing results and just came short of victory and ended up as the runner-up.
Irish Poker Championship with a festival guarantee of €500,000 is underway in The Galmont Hotel in Galway, Ireland. The organizers have decided to add a lately extremely popular Mystery Bounty tournament to the schedule, and it has proven to be a perfect choice.
Josh Stewart did an amazing job in the opening tournament, as he just came short of taking home another trophy after his amazing run not long ago at EPT London. For his second-place finish, he received €5.800 and also pulled out a €5.000 Mistery Bounty, which totaled his winnings up to €11.100!
An amazing result for our PokerPro representative, who is already battling his way in the €550 Main Event, which has a €250.000 guaranteed prize pool.
There is still time to get to the event, as there are many attractive side events and low-cost satellites to all the main tournaments and cash games running 24/7. We will of course keep you updated on the results of the Main Event here at Galmont Hotel.
