EPT 2024 Season Kicks Off with Prestigious Paris Event

As the poker world turns its eyes towards the City of Light, the European Poker Tour (EPT) is set to make its grand return for the first stop of its 18th season in 2024. Following a remarkable debut last year, the EPT is once again gracing France, bringing together the thrill of poker with the unparalleled charm of Paris. The festival, running from February 14 to 25, promises to be a highlight of the international poker calendar.

This year’s events will unfold at the iconic Le Palais des Congrès, a venue renowned for its grandeur and location in the heart of Paris. This choice underscores the EPT’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience, not only in terms of competitive play but also in the luxury and comfort offered to players.

The EPT Paris schedule is packed with a variety of tournaments with buy-ins starting at €330. Highlights of the festival include the EPT Super High Roller (€50,000), the Main Event (€5,300), the Mystery Bounty (€3,000), and the High Roller (€10,300).

Before the EPT, the France Poker Series (FPS) will warm up the tables with the FPS Main Event (€1,100), the FPS Cup (€550), and the FPS High Roller (€2,200).

2023 EPT Paris winner Razvan Belea

With 1,606 entries last year, the EPT Paris Main Event was the biggest EPT stop ever outside of Barcelona, so expectations are high again. The overwhelming interest even took organizers by surprise, leading to long lines for registration. Amidst all this, qualifier Razvan Belea emerged victorious, clinching the event for an incredible €1,170,000. This year, the venue has been upgraded to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees, aiming to build upon the previous year’s success.

For those unable to attend in person, the EPT Paris will be livestreamed, with English coverage hosted by James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton, accompanied by a series of guest commentators. Follow PokerStars YouTube and Twitch channels, to miss a moment of the action.
