Following a successful UK Poker Open in Coventry, the 18th season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is set to continue, making its next stop in the vibrant seaside town of Blackpool. From March 10 to 17, UK poker enthusiast will gather at the Grosvenor Casino Blackpool for another exciting week of poker action.
The third leg of GUKPT will feature eight numbered events, providing something for players of every level. Poker week starts with the £250 Mini Main, setting a stage for the highlight of the festival the £1,250 Main Event, scheduled to start on Thursday, March 14, with Day 1A. Followed by Day 1B and 1C a day later, the Main Event will bring surviving players together on Saturday for Day 2 and a new champion will be crowned on Sunday, March 17.
Last year’s Main Event saw GUKPT regular Lin Chen rise above a field of 305 players, clinching the title along a nice £65,310 money prize.
