Leeds is gearing up for an exciting stop in the 2024 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) season. As a leg 7 of the 10-leg tour, including the Grand Final in Luton, the Leads event promises to deliver the same high-quality poker action that the GUKPT is renowned for.
From May 30 to June 9, the Leeds schedule will feature the standard repertoire that has made the tour popular across the UK. The series kicks off with the £200 Opener, slowly building up anticipation for the highlight of the series, the £1,000 Main Event.
The Main Event runs from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9. It has three starting flights, including a Turbo Day 1C, followed by two more days of intense action before a new GUKPT champion is crowned.

The 2023 Leeds’ Main Event saw a field of 361 players, generating a £305,689 prize pool. Kostas Patsourakis, primarily a cash game player from Newcastle, was the last man standing, earning his career-best £78,419 for the win.
2024 GUKPT Leeds Side Events
Beyond the Main Event, the Leeds schedule includes several other exciting tournaments. These include the popular £550 GUKPT Cup, a couple of Pot Limit Omaha events with £250 and £330 buy-ins, and a £1,650 High Roller for those looking to play at higher stakes.
As usual, the High Roller, Main Event, and other selected side events will be livestreamed on the Grosvenor Poker YouTube channel, allowing fans to catch all the action as it unfolds.
GUKPT London in Full Swing
In parallel news, the GUKPT’s London stop is in full swing. The Main Event has just begun with Day 1A, and several side events have already crowned their champions.
Chris Da Silva won the GUKPT London Opener after making a deal heads-up, taking home £13,750, while Rob Garfield captured the Mini Main Event, beating a handsome 469-entry field and pocketing £27,770 for the win.
